WomanEndangered partnered with Business World to screen the Oscar winning director Megan Mylan’s documentary “After My Garden Grows“. A film that stokes the thought that if a girl has enough to eat, a safe environment, an education, life skills, and is not forced to marry before 18, she’ll work to raise the standard of living for herself, her family and her community. And in time, she can even strengthen the economy of her entire country.

Megan Mylan is an American documentary film director, known for her films Lost Boys of Sudan and the 2008 Academy Award-winning Smile Pinki.
The event also witnessed the launch of WE teaser a/v followed by an inaugural address by Shri Krishan Pal Singh Gujjar, Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment. A Panel discussion on Girl Power had deliberations on the topic Girls are a smart investment for everyone. CSR strategies for girls empowerment and gender equality.
